Great Lunch ‘n’ Learn session on Human Trafficking on May 17! Jeremy Greenlee from the Indiana Trafficking Victim Assistance Program explained what human trafficking is and what the different kinds of trafficking are. Surprisingly, the biggest percentage of traffickers are family members! Often victims do not identify as victims and will not ask for help! We learned about 14 red flags that might identify a victim of human trafficking and how the A-M-P Model constitutes human trafficking. If you suspect human trafficking, text “HELP” or “INFO” to 233733 or call the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. The event was sponsored by Farmers State Bank.

IAR 2017 Stakeholders Conference. Call it a coincidence or call it a possible result of attending IAR’s Leadership Academy but four of the members chosen throughout the State for the 2017 Local REALTOR® of the Year were in the 2013-2014 Leadership Academy! The Leadership Academy for 2017-2018 has been filled but please start thinking forward to the class of 2018-2019 and consider attending. It would be well worth your time!
